TASK : Design five posters for the History of Graphic Design and American Democracy Project Poster Competition
CONCEPT : I am very passionate about the topics these posters cover. They vary from voting to police brutality to social media use. These posters and the ideas behind them speak for themselves. FOUR WEEKS
CITY PLANNING GROUP PROJECT
TASK : Design a city logo, website, transportation, sports team, an event, and two extras for a city that you design with your group. (I designed the logo, transportation, restaurant, website, and most mock-ups)
CONCEPT : Dating back to 1848, Skeller has always been a hustling and bustling city. It was first established during the gold rush, but not because of the gold. Scandium became the main export of Skeller and has been its key innovator; we can see that today with the neon signs and bicycle frames. That being said, Skeller has a lot of history when it comes to the underground scene. In 1919 when prohibition first hit California, the people of the city came together and turned the old gold mines from the gold rush into saloons to drink their liquor. Even after prohibition was repealed these underground establishments continued to live on and were converted into restaurants and a few other businesses. Skeller loves their underground communities and it reflects in their culture of their eccentric vibes and always being ahead of the newest trends.

MUSIC FESTIVAL CONCEPT
FOUR WEEKS
TASK : Design a logo, three way finders, and three promos for a music festival that has a purpose.
CONCEPT : Cut It music festival is a yearly festival curated by J. Cole to promote Hip Hop as a platform to promote change. Hip Hop is the most relevant form of music and culture currently with the most reach and many artists use their voices to bring attention to important issues. So, the goal of Cut It is to get these voices together and promote change for these various issues. Cut It got its name from being a Hip Hop reference, needing to cut out the bullshit, and getting straight to the problems at hand. The guillotine is used for its gruesome but straightforward nature. Many people used to gather around to watch beheadings as a form of entertainment, concerts are another form of entertainment people gather to watch. The guillotine symbolizes cutting through the issues that are plaguing our community, like how they would use the guillotine to behead the people destroying the community.

ONLINE CLOTHING STORE
INSTA : @ninetoedsloth

PURPOSE : Create a graphic tee clothing store with kickass designs.
CONCEPT : Our website mission statement pretty much encompasses the whole idea,
“What do you know about sloths? I'm guessing jack shit. And if you're an expert on arboreal neotropical xenarthran mammals, congratulations, you're a goddamn nerd. And you still don't know me.
Apparently, I'm a unique sloth, selected to judge the artistic expression and abilities of others. That's right, I curate this website. Artists and designers develop one-of-a-kind pieces, and I decide if they're worthy. Or at least dope enough for a dang t-shirt.
I don't know how you landed here, but you're welcome to hang. Maybe you'll learn something about sloths, or your wardrobe will improve. Perhaps you'll be offended and leave. I honestly don't care. I only ask that you know, not think, that someday you're going to die. Please don't waste your time amongst the beauty of life. Slow the fuck down and move with reason.”
